About the Artist

A Minnesotan with an affinity for forests, felines, and fancy teas.

VanLyn received her BFA for fine arts from the University of Minnesota, Duluth where she explored a wide variety of mediums and fell in love with them all. Combining her skills in printmaking with painting and assemblage, she began exploring etching and layering glass panels to create imagery.

Since graduating she has experienced problems with her left eye that lead to decreased vision, thus prompted her to begin exploring digital art. Armed with outdated software and a whole lot of determination, she begins transferring her traditional art skillsets to the digital world.
